2008 Class Reunion - Our 40 Year Reunion!
Our 40th year class reunion was successfully held on Friday, September 12, 2008 through Sunday, September 14, 2008. The main event was a picnic at Kurt Muller's House on Saturday, September 13th, 2008. Click here for the Reunion details. Click here for the Reunion Itinerary.
Special recognition goes to the following people who were responsible for the success of the reunion:
Jenny Sholz for being the treasurer and the glue that holds the whole thing together
Pam Scott Peters - for taking the ball and running with it for a fantastic picnic - She coordinated that end of it and deserves a special thank you for doing such a superb job.
Judi Heidler for assisting Pam with the picnic
Michael Hubbard for taking the lead with the Cruise and the cocktail party
Cherie Bast Asquith for coordinating the bus tour, getting us a break on the price and driving the bus, and for making the beautiful banner
Cindy Purnell for assisting Cherie and coordinating the prizes for the special questions and supporting the committee
Mike McCarthy for the special brunch at Camp Meade and coordinating the football game (even though it was canceled)
Claude Martin for taking up the slack and taking the initiative to tie up loose ends.
Gerry Hough for being Master of Ceremonies and just coming to the reunion so we could see his handsome self.
Neal Perry - for his detective work on locating missing classmates, and also to Pam Turner and the Carter twins for helping on this end too
Susie Robertshaw for designing the brochures
And a special thank you to Gary Westholm, although not a part of our class, was kind enough to narrate the bus tour and to take the group photographs at the picnic
